WHO IS API SHOP?

Led by Rich Steinmetz

Rich Steinmetz has helped engineering SaaS products since 2016 and growing Ruby on Rails API systems since 2020.

His pre-engineering background has instilled in him a customer-centric mindset, probabilistic thinking and a strong sense of teamwork. These qualities have helped him develop public and private APIs that meet user expectations, leading to fewer frustrations in the development team on all sides.

He loves automation and making things click together, so he devotes a lot of his time to the different pieces of the API puzzle, like API design, testing, security, observability and, most importantly, the product side of things.
